WHORLED CLARY SAGE – Salvia verticilliata – 5 lite pot

Clary Sage is a true pollinator hero plant, providing flowers for weeks and weeks in the summer months it is nectar rich for all.  The leaves are typical for the sage family being somewhat heart shaped and soft dark green and it sends up tall stems of stunning whorls of rich purple flowers, growing to a height of 60cm.  Clary sage isn’t too fussy about its growing position it loves a sunny spot and can cope with an element of semi shade.

I always think this is a very hard working perennial and a somewhat “Kind” garden perennial requiring no fuss or work.
