Gaura – The Bride ( 2 litres)
This plant may look graceful and delicate but is in fact tough as old boots. We have planted in different situations and they don’t seem to mind, although as with most perennials we wouldn’t imagine that they will sit in water for too long during the winter months, so not suitable for extreme and prolonged waterlogged areas. They can flower continuously for 5 months, only stopping for the frosts and the pollinating insects love them. The white flowers are borne on long stems and overall the plant reaches 3 feet.
If sowing, sow on top of seed compost. Do not cover, they need light to germinate.
