Crinum Lily – Hardy Amaryllis
Also known as the Hardy Amaryllis our stock is incredibly established – our source is in Kent. These bulbs can be over 30 years old and the size of a football, but must reach a maturity in order to flower. I sometimes come across established clumps in older gardens, where they seem to thrive in semi shade, in my gardens here I have some in shade and some in sun which shows they don’t seem to mind. They are completely hardy and produce Amarylis like mid Pink flowers. Although we have often seen bulbs for sale loose and dormant we believe that it is better to see the flowers in the pot for sale.
