I know that all of the lovely gorgeous catalogues are arriving daily in advance of Spring! and that we all ADORE DAHLIA! They are just amazing with all the different colour flowers and heights and then faced with the wonderful red leaf varieties I know that I can get completely “Lost” when it comes to ordering…. Just a small favour to ask, apart from the Collarette type – unfortunately the other dahlia varieties; Cactus, Anemone, Pom Pom and most decorative are all without any nectar, so when you order please give a thought to this and just slip in a few Collarette Dahlia for the Pollinators, Just like our beloved Peony, have loads but also compliment your border planting with pollinator friendly perennials around them.
