The Enchanted Gardens CIC: A Unique Vision for Nature and Community
The Enchanted Gardens CIC is a truly unique pollinator conservation plant nursery, entirely peat-free and pesticide-free. We are one of the very few places in the UK where plants are grown from seed and cuttings, in contrast to the global trend of plant cloning.
Our mission is to offer this special 2 acre conservation site to gardeners, nature lovers, Children and Adults for education and conversation. We are passionate about sustaining protection for UK pollinating insects and all wildlife, as well as teaching sustainable gardening practices, through workshops, classes and activities.
By thoughtfully planning and
implementing various targeted activities, The Enchanted Gardens CIC can offer a meaningful and transformative experience for everyone. It serves as a space dedicated to Families, Mental and Physical Wellbeing, Learning, and Creativity
A Creative Hub for All:
The Enchanted Gardens CIC also serves as an open-air venue where struggling artists and creatives can display and install their work. We envision a community space where creativity flourishes, and where Charities can hold fundraising and support days. People with mental health challenges, learning disabilities, or dementia can find peace and rest, listening to birdsong in a safe and serene environment.
Our Resident Artists can hold space for all ages and learning needs to explore a wide variety of creative therapy days; with paint, textiles, clay, etc., to express themselves and explore their abilities using nature and plants. Our Resident Authors can transport children through magical books with story time where anything is possible and expression/inclusion and kindness is celebrated through their literary skills.
The Enchanted Gardens CIC is a place where nature, community, education and creativity come together.
