The Second of our Little Hero’s – Ladybirds really are a Gardeners friend! This wonderfully beneficial insect will devour over 100 aphids a day, so your Roses and other plants will benefit too.  We like this little house as it has been designed to allow Ladybirds to enter easily but keeping out other other predators of Ladybirds.

Ladybirds often hibernate in clusters, please put some corrugated cardboard and leaves inside to make it cosy for them.

Please look at the picture of a Baby Ladybird – I call them Little Dragons, please make sure you know what these little chaps look like so that you can look after and protect them for the future of keeping aphids under control in your garden.
