SUPPORTING DEMENTIA THROUGH NATURE:
We believe nature offers a unique kind of peace, a peace that doesn’t require explanation, memory, or effort. Our gardens and nursery provide a safe, welcoming space where people living with dementia and their carers can connect with the natural world and with each other.
Listening to birdsong doesn’t challenge the senses; it always makes sense, even when the details of life become hard to hold onto. Watching butterflies dance or bees at work can spark a quiet joy and a deep sense of calm.
This is not about learning or remembering. It’s about being. Our site is a space where carers can feel safe to express themselves, and where people living with dementia can simply experience the soothing presence of nature, without pressure, without expectations.
Spending time in nature is proven to support emotional wellbeing. We want to share this space as a sanctuary of peace, where natural conversations can unfold gently, sparked by birdsong, sunlight, flowers, and the rhythms of the seasons.
