Teucrium Hircanicum 2 litres

A new one for us from our wonderful friend Hazel Whittaker.

A great plant for honey bees but attracts other bees too.

Deep pinky-red flower spikes, 50cm high through August and September – buzzing like crazy with bees on a warm day.

Aromatic green foliage, with soft downy stems, so the slugs will probably not like it (we will get back to you on that one.)

It will bulks up to form clumps of up to 50cm, as its a vigorous grower, simply shear prune once flowering finished (we leave ours to late Spring to give insect hibernation points).

Really reliable garden plant that will tolerate most situations and soils but prefers it well drained and at least half-sun.
