Sweetcorn Ambrosia F1 2 in 9cm

An attractive, bicolour variety with a sweet flavour and a creamy texture. Good early vigour great for UK climate.

We love these straight on the b-b-q drizzled in salt, pepper and butter.

Sowing.

Indoors, may, 1.5cm depth, 2 inch apart, 15-20 centigrade.

Outdoors

In final position in May in rows spacing 40cm apart alternately as they are wind pollinated, having both male (tassels) and female (silks and ear) flowers. Pollen from the tassels needs to land on the silks in order to create a good crop.

45 cm between plants.

Harvest mid-August onwards.
