Courgette Gold – 2 in 9cm pot
We love courgettes! This is the yellow variety which looks amazing raw or cooked, and we find they are best fried in butter with fresh rosemary, they are so good they rarely make it to the table! or chop or slice and roast with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper.
The flowers are also good filled with cream cheese and fried.
Easy to pick.
Pick often to encourage fruits. Courgette are an easy grow for children too, they can be picked at any stage.
Indoors march-May, 2 seeds on their edge per pot, 1.5cm deep, at 20-25 centigrade.
Harden off late May sapcing 45 cm apart.
